The Ibis does not include breakfast, but we had checked the restaurants at Cork airport. It was good value and we had a cooked breakfast there [6 Euro for a large breakfast]. We had plenty of time to check in for our flight and Cork airport is small and efficient. There was no time to get the train (or drive) to Cobh and see the excellent Queenstown Story from where so many Irish emigrated to the New World (it's beside the rail station).

Highlights:

• Dursey island - unmissable

• Lartigue monorail at Listowel

• Total distance (approx.) 800k (c. 500 miles)
