On the watery border; The Cong River separates Galway and Mayo

JS: This is on the outskirts of Cong, a town best known for the Hollywood movie location that was made there. here we are standing between two counties.

Ed: Ed: Without the making of the Quiet Man, Cong would be a rather lovely but sleepy Mayo village. It received regular visits from tourists who want to see where John Wayne and his co-stars filmed on location. This is not in the film (as far as I remember), but a rather beautiful location where the river divides counties Galway and Mayo.
