035 at Dun Laoghaire with toothpaste livery and mark IIs

RAIL 20 PHOTO

This is Dun Laoghaire, probably in 1987 or 1988, and the train is the down Rosslaire. In charge is Metropolitan-Vickers 'A' class 035, hauling a matching set of mark IIs in toothpaste livery. The logo on the front of the engine is supposed to depict the letters 'i' and 'r' representing the company's name. Doubtless they paid Swedish consultants some vast amount of money for that one! I suspect 035 was one of the few 'A' class to sport the new logo - perhaps someone might enlighten me.
