London to Prague by train p. 2
Timekeeping was surprising; we had only got 20 minutes to connect at Brussels Midi between the Eurostar and ICE, and this was the least-late train. The ICE between Brussels and Cologne was interrupted by an unexpected train change at Düren, not far from Cologne/Koln. The pound coin test involves placing a British coin on its side and seeing how long it stands - a mark of good track maintenance! WE crossed the following countries (with no border checks, except departing London): UK-France-Belgium-Germany-Czech Republic.
