The Waterford-New Ross line skirts the River Barrow

This picture shows the beautiful scenery through which the Waterford to New Ross branch line crosses, with the River Barrow much in evidence during this sunny May day in 1986. Drainage was good on this section, and the yellow gorse attests to this fact! The sandy shore of the river can also be seen in the distance.
