New Ross yard with a stored stack of sleepers evident in 1986

The new stack of sleepers suggests that CIE were prepared to maintain the New Ross branch beyond 1986, when this picture was taken. In the distance stores of fertiliser may be seen, although it is unclear whether these were delivered by road or rail (probably the former).
