Kilmacthomas railway station with GM 159, date 11 June 1987

The crew that morning carried a few enthusiasts out of courtesy and the deal was that those in 159's cab on the outward route swapped with those in the accommodation carriage, so we had a cab view on the return! The driver was incredibly understanding and he and the crew kindly stopped on the return at Kilmacthomas for a photo shoot. The overgrown state of the loop can also be seen here.
