ST.KEVIN'S CHURCH

It's under the ivy!

A view of St. Kevin's church, one of Dublin's medieval hidden churches. It is a complete ruin but the grounds are beautifully maintained by the Corporation's parks departments. It may be found in an interesting part of Dublin's south city, very near St. Patrick's cathedral. In the vicinity was the Palace of St Sepulchre, part of which is now incorporated into Kevin's Street Gardai station; other historic sites included the church of St Peter's and the former Adelaide Hospital. Picture taken December 2001.
