MILLENIUM SPIRE

This is O'Connell Street with the famous Spire; I quite like the arrow of the traffic signal pointing to the Spire. The locals call the Spire "Spike". If you can think of a good caption for the eejit with his arms outstretched, contact me and I'll acknowledge and include it here. The Millenium Spire is a good example of street art that is being promoted and encouraged by Dublin Corporation; you will see other examples around the city. Photo taken July 2003.
