GERMAN WAR CEMETERY, GLENCREE, IRELAND

This picture illustrates the outside wall of the cemetery. The cemetery is beautifully maintained; to my knowledge the German Embassy continues to help with funding towards its upkeep. This site is quite difficult to locate and often passed by motorists (including tourists), due to its location on a narrow bend. There is parking nearby on the side of the road but no official site. It is quite near to the Glencree Reconciliation project - I am unsure whether they allow public access though.
