Resources for the River Poddle, Dublin
I am most grateful to Ciarán McCarthy for the following resources about Dublin's River Poddle.
The ordinance survey has a great new tool with satellite/hybrid and historical layers visible – and free on their website. You can look at the historical maps and fade in the modern layout to see the exact locations in the modern day.

Amazing number of mill ponds, mill races, mills… and minor re-routings over time, especially as the estates were built in Templogue through to KCR.
